Charles Human, recently out of prison, looks for job in one of the toughest economic situations in the last 50 years. The Urban League's re-entry program starts in prison, but can serve just a fraction of the people who need it. Each month, the state releases about 500 inmates, people who have either been paroled or completed their sentences. Even in the best economy, many of these ex-felons will not find work, commit another crime and return to prison. The current economic environment -- with its high unemployment and nonexistent job growth -- has turned this challenge into a Herculean ordeal.
